Instead try to be more affectionate towards her mother and compliment her every time you get a chance. In everything you do, from choosing the gift for them to starting conversation and complimenting them, do not exaggerate anything. Do not show that you are desperately trying to win their approval. Just do it the way that you think is the best. This way you wont have to memorize lines or things you should be doing at some particular instants.
