Everyone wants something more from their lives. The only thing that varies from person to person is the way we go about getting that something more. People who go about attaining that something more in a certain way find a life of excitement, achievement and fulfillment while others look on and wonder why they can\'t do the same. This article will aim to examine 3 reasons why people don\'t achieve the success they desire and what can be done to change this.
1. They don\'t know what success means to them. They haven\'t defined what it is they really want. They have some idea of where they might like to be but their focus is unclear and their actions are varied. Sometimes they want one thing and sometimes they want something else. There is nothing congruent about the way they live. It\'s like starting out on a journey without having a map. How are you ever going to get there when you don\'t even know where there is?
2. They don\'t think they can get there. Sometimes people know what they want. They have dreams but in time those dreams die because either they don\'t truly believe themselves worthy of the level of success they desire or deep down they don\'t have confidence to believe that it\'s possible.
3. We get caught up. We get caught up making a living, doing the things we do every day. One day flows to the next, things keep happening, day in day out it\'s the same thing because after all someone has to pay the bills. Some people never have time to think about improving their lives because they\'re so caught up in all the other relatively insignificant details and daily goings on that they never \'get around to it\'! They have no choice, they are living on autopilot, not having claimed the power to create their lives in any way they wish and they are so \'busy\' that they never even realize.
The tragedy of the situation is that these factors are so easily remedied and yet in their oblivion so many people never get a chance to change them and really live the lives they deserve.
The truth is that anyone can live a life of joy, passion, excitement, enthusiasm, friendship, connection, love, adventure, achievement, blissfulness, challenge, appreciation and more. With a commitment to learning and growing the power to create an amazing existence becomes ours.
Our lives are so short, but a speck of cosmic dust in the continuum of the universe. We must take control of our lives while we can and commit to an existence full of whatever it is we want, every day.
